Non-urgent advice: Extended Access

On weekdays between the hours of 18:30 – 08:00 and all day and night at weekends and bank holidays, emergency cover is provided by Care UK. If you wish to see an emergency doctor telephone 111

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Accessibility

At Hillview Medical Centre, we want to ensure that all patients have a positive experience with us and have implemented reasonable adjustments to ensure access for all. This includes:

  • Access to rooms and reception 
    All clinical areas can be found on the ground floor
  • Afternoon appointments 
    We know how a busy waiting area can be daunting and overwhelming. To support you on your visit, we can offer you appointments in the afternoon during quieter periods.
  • Translation service
    Our care navigators can arrange a translator for you prior to your appointment so that you are able to gain the most out of your visit or telephone call. Please let the surgery know if you require any communication or information support needs.
  • Bathroom and changing facilities
    There is wheelchair access and baby changing facilities in the patients’ toilet near the waiting room.
  • Other facilities
    Our practice also provide but do not limit to, ramps, easy read signs, access for blue badge holders and offer a personal service.
