Healthy Worcestershire

Healthy Worcestershire is a new and exciting programme commissioned by Worcestershire County Council, open to anyone over the age of 18 who live, or are registered with a GP in Worcestershire.

Sessions are 2-3 hours long and broken into 3 parts:

  • Physical activity including; resistance training, balance training, yoga, Pilates and tai chi etc.
  • Lifestyle advice group discussion including; budget-friendly and nutritious cooking, healthy habits- smoking/drinking/activity/sleep, mental health and emotional well-being, community safety issues such as doorstep crime
  • Social connection opportunity including; Refreshments, interaction and fun activities such as bingo, arts& crafts, gardening, knitting, singing.

Individuals can attend any part of the session and are not required to stay for
all.
