You can book to have a telephone consultation with a doctor. He or she will telephone you at an agreed time on the telephone number you have given. If you are only available on a mobile phone, you will be expected to telephone the practice at the agreed time.

OBTAIN AN APPOINTMENT?

We have an appointments system for all surgeries. Appointments can be made by telephone or at the reception desk. Emergencies are seen at the next available surgery. Please phone and cancel your appointment if you are unable to keep it, since it can then be given to another patient. Nurses' appointments can be booked four weeks in advance and doctors' appointments are available two weeks in advance.

OBTAIN HOME VISITS ?

Home visits are carried out where necessary on patients who are too ill or infirm to attend the surgery. Please telephone the surgery before 10.30am if you think a home visit is necessary and give the receptionists some indication of the problem. The doctor may ring you to assess the situation further.

These are available after 2.00pm. Please allow a period of seven days for the results to arrive, unless otherwise advised.
